Herb To Appear At US Car Show In Dornbirn, Austria
Herb Martinez, well-known pinstriper from California, will be appearing at the US Car Show, Dornbirn, Austria on May 30-31, 2009. Thanks to the show’s owner and organizer, Robert Willinger, Herb has been given the opportunity to come to show and sign his book, “Guide to Pinstriping”, and also promote some of his workshops in Altendorf, Switzerland on June 7th and Munich on July 18-19 at VooDoo Beat.de.
Herb has been appearing in Germany and other nearby countries for more than 12 years. This is his 10th Eurotour. He will be teaching 17 workshops in 7 weeks throughout 4 countries. This year’s tour will start in Switzerland in Altendorf, near Zurich, at Corrosserie Th. de Bell. Next will be workshops in Italy at Kosmic Color in Trucchi, STDS Direct, south of Paris, France, Lucky 13 Europe in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Meilenwerk in Dusseldorf and Berlin, organized by Graf Body Shop, and VooDoo Beat.de in Munich. As you can see, the tour will be very busy indeed. For more information go to Herb’s website at http://www.herbmartinez.com or his email at both linedr@comcast.net or linedr_2000@yahoo.com.
Thanks to the sponsorship from 1Shot Paints and Mack Brush Company, Herb has been able to make these trips during the summer for the last 4 years in a row. His trek started in 1997 in Ludwigshafen am Bodensee with a friend who owned an auto dealership. Later he based from Frieburg, Germany thanks to his friends Louy and Gina Fehrenbach. Herb has worked in numerous locations and US Car Shows throughout central Europe since 1998. He has appeared at such shows as the Street Nationals, Street Rod Nationals, the Essen Motor Show, and other smaller events. This year he has turned his total attention towards teaching his basic and advanced pinstriping workshops. “If I can fill all of the workshops, I will train 180 potential stripers this year in Europe” says Herb. “I just want to help our art of pinstriping grow to the potential it is capable of in Europe. So many people do art here. It is part of the culture to do art. I am thankful to God Almighty and also my friends, and business colleagues, that I have the opportunities to teach in so many places.
